Mazda will launch the limited-edition MX-30 electric car in the UK early next year with prices starting from about 915 million.
Mazda MX-30 is its first fully electric vehicle. Mazda will only produce a limited edition of 500 units for the UK market and it is starting to pre-order the first version of this model.
MX-30 is powered by an electric motor of 141 hp and 264 Nm of traction, besides the battery of 35.5 kWh will help the car move 200 km on a single charge.
The travel limit will be a point unless you set the MX-30 in comparison with competitors of similar price and size. However, Mazda says that the travel range of the MX-30 is comfortable for European customers (whose average range is only about 50 km per day). Mazda also equips the car with a 50 kW fast charger that can charge 80% of the car battery in just 30 to 40 minutes.
The interior of MX-30 features a separate center console. Eco-friendly materials such as recycled plastic and imitation leather are used on the door and seat trim. In total, the car interior is equipped with 3 screens respectively for the information display, entertainment screen and air conditioning system control screen.
The first version of the MX-30 was offered in either single color Ceramic Metallic or Polymetal Gray Metallic. Besides, customers also have the option to pay for the 3-tone versions of Ceramic Metallic or 3-tone Soul Red Crystal Metallic.
Standard equipment on the first-generation Mazda MX-30 also includes a steering glass display, 8-way power driver’s seat, Radar Cruise Control, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity and a charger. Mazda will announce a detailed price for each model by the end of this year.
